THE PLAN
Our plan is to promote exercise in some way at a gym in the community. Whether it be advertise an event, create a fitness log, make a wellness brochure, or create a program for the elderly--we have not yet decided. Our plan will become more distinct and clear once we contact a few local gyms. -Heather, Sean, Casey

GOOD LUCK!
Your plan for the elderly is great!
Would you mind posting at least the email here on your blog?
GREAT JOB!
We have changed our minds since our original "PLAN" idea. We have now decided on health and fitness for the elderly. It is our hope to help out a local nursing or assisted living home in New Hanover County by providing a brochure or some sort of written "plan" that its residents can follow to improve their health and overall well-being. The brochure will include the following:
- the benefits of physical fitness
- the best types of exercise, and the importance of variety
- an ideal lifestyle (balancing nutrition, exercise and sleep) We want to keep the brochure brief, but informative and catchy!
We have assigned ourselves roles in order to stay on task and accomplish our goals efficiently and thoroughly.
Heather will be doing research using the online library database.
Sean will email multiple retirement homes in the community.
Casey will come up with a brochure that can be of use to the residents.
Together we will update our Google Doc throughout all of the stages of the project, keeping a timeline, documenting our progress, and organizing our research and gathered information.
We are thrilled about our plan and can't wait to see it in action!
Hey guys! I thought your presentation was great! I did a little research and found something to be interesting. Turns out, fitness may help elderly minds stay sharp! Here's the link! Hope this helps and good luck!
